White Folded Flowers

Good afternoon, wow the wind sure has been flying today.  I think my neighbor just blew by.  Wicked, and the weather has sure been interesting lately.  Thanks for stopping here today, my card I am sharing with you is one I made this weekend at my friend Tamie's place. 

 

We got crafty in her craft room for real, no cyber crafting this weekend, it was so awesome.  She has these huge white flowers and I love playing with them, so I snagged a few, and started playing, folding the bigger one in half, and then continuing on with the next sizes.  I used a punch for the leaves, and then added some ribbon to the window box I made.  Decided no sentiment was needed this time.  I wish I could take a better picture, because I used clear Wink of Stella brush on the petals of the white flowers, so awesome.   Thanks again Tamie, for letting me get crafty in your room, and in person, was so fun.  Till next time, I hope you get your craft groove on. 200th Challenge at 4 Crafty Chicks

Hello and Welcome back!  My card for our "stripes" challenge at 4 Crafty Chicks. I wanted to do a wee bit different with my stripes so I paper pieced the clothing on the image.  I like how it turned out.

My image is from Clear Stamps-Damask Divas-Let's Go Shopping.  I added some flowers and inked the edges and used spellbinders.  I used pattern paper from Momenta 6x6 pack, nice paper and of course colored her using Copic Markers.

My Heart is So Happy

 

Hello friends, another cool rainy start to this day, but by early afternoon, sunshine and blue sky, beautiful summer day.

So glad you stopped by to check out what I am creating today.  My friend Tamie and I have been challenging each other using the From My Heart Stamps, and the i {heart} sketches challenge.  They have wonderful stamps and fun challenges.  The sketch I am using is fun, the twist is to use warm colors(warm reds, oranges, yellows), love these colors.  The image is called Whimsy Garden Fence.

I hope you get over and play this challenge and do go over to From The Heart Stamps, they are so super cute, and always new ones to create with.

I had so much fun with this sketch, and I kept going with my crafting afternoon.  I made another card, and this image is from "Paper Pretties"-Hialeah.

 I added some flowers and colored using my copic markers.

 The twist with this one is that I made a card on top of the card, see below picture.

I added a Thanks sentiment and this Bo Bunny Pattern paper.  I know I can't enter the bottom card, but love the sketch, so just had to make another one. Thanks again, and I am entering in the following challenges:

LOL Lots of Love Take 2

 

Today I am again show casing this wonderful embossing folder from Couture Creations called Confetti, last Monday I showed you one way I used it, and today, another way.  Endless, and wonderful ways.

 

Our challenge this month at One Crazy Stamper is Anything Goes with a Splash of Glitter and a ribbon.  I sure wish you could see the glitter, I still can't quite figure out how to take a picture showing the glitter.  But it is there.

I cut the white embossed card stock and along the edge used my wink of stella pen for some glitter also added it to the leaves.  Then I embossed the red with the same folder and add the leaves, sentiment and ribbon/button/twine.  I used some glitter to go over the words in the sentiment also.  I do hope you get time to play our challenge at One Crazy Stamper.  I hope you try using your embossing folders, endless ways.  Thanks again, and for all your crafting supplies pop on over to the One Crazy Stamper store.  Till next time, happy crafting.

Thinking of You

Hello and Happy first day of Summer in Canada...and it is a lovely day.  Sunshine blue sky and the temp isn't so bad either.  A bit windy though, but a nice day.


I was talking to a friend and told her I was making a sort of sympathy/thinking of you card.  Tamie thought I should put it on here for a fun card, enter some challenges too.

I think it turned out pretty nice.  I seen this idea on pinterest where they used the dies and had the pattern paper behind the cutout part.  I like adding flowers and ribbon, but it needed something else, and so I grabbed my white Signo Pen and got dotting around the butterflies.  I hope you enjoy your weekend, and I hope you enjoy your Saturday.  Till next time happy crafting and thanks for stopping!  Cheers!

Thank You

"Thank You" sometimes is so easy to say and means lots, and we usually say it a few times a day, but this day, I just wanted to share my little card I have made for my Mom...shhhhhh she hasn't seen it yet.  I just wanted to give her a little card to say Thank you, no huge meaning, not a little one either just because.

Today our challenge at 4 Crafty Chicks  #199 Round Card is a hosted by our illustrious Tamie, and she has asked us to make a round card.  I seen this technique on You Tube and thought it would work for a round card also.  I don't have a big circle die so my card is like a note card size.  But if you had a bigger circle it would work also.  My little image I colored is a digi image and for the life of me, can't find out where I got it from.  I think sometimes my Organized self is too organized.  So when I find the name I will be sure to give a huge shout out to them.

I used Spellbinders, and some fun bling, my girl Tamie gave me a while back. Added some height with some 3D foam tape, and a ribbon/bow.  Oh and of course colored it up right with some copic markers.  Again please go on over to 4 Crafty Chicks, play along with the chicks and lets have some fun with this challenge!  Till next time I hope you get your craft groove on.  Cheers!

LOL - Lots of Love

Hello Friends, and welcome back, wow this month is flying, summer so close I can see it.  The embossing folder I am show casing today and again next week, you will have to come back to check it out.  The company is Couture Creations - Confetti.

 

I opened it up and inked one side and put the white card stock in, and into my big shot it went.  I then just followed the pattern around a bit with my scissors.  Added some flowers some dots another embossing folder and some ribbon.  Oh and popped it up using 3D foam dots.  The sentiment is from Wild Rose Studio - Flower Heart. Please enter our challenge at One Crazy Stamper for the month of June it is Anything Goes plus Glitter and Ribbon.  I wish you could see the glitter, but it is there around the edges and the sentiment is too, maybe if you zoomed in.  Not sure how to make it so you can see the glitter.  Thanks for stopping, make sure you pop on over to Lora's store and get yourself some crafting supplies.  Till next time happy crafting.

Girls just want to have Fun

 

This is awesome, I haven't played a KennyK challenge in like forever, and my friend, challenge me to a fun card, and this was what I picked out.

 

Now for my card, it is a 6x6 and I used two of the KennyK stamps for it.  I like how it rocks.

I Colored my girls using Copic Markers, and I used the music sheet paper from Stampin Up, and I inked the edges using Ranger Distress Ink-Black Soot, I added two guitars, add the twine and popped up the images with some 3D foam squares.  I had to add some bling with some black rhinestones in the corners.

 

 I also added a sentiment, but not on the front of my card, but on the inside.

4 Crafty Chicks #198 Baby and Someone is having a Birthday

Hello friends, glad you are back we are having a fun challenge at 4 Crafty Chicks and I would like for you to pop on over, share some love, and get crafty with us.

First of all, before I get to my card, I want to give my longest and oldest and dearest did I say oldest...okay maybe she isn't that old, yet!!  A Happy Birthday Wish, yes our girl Lori is having a Birthday today, so sending her love, hugs, and peace within! Luv Ya friend, and have a great day. You are almost as old as ..... ME! 

Now onto my card and the challenge at 4 Crafty Chicks.

 

The challenge is you guessed it! "Baby", and who doesn't love seeing these great projects. I decided to make a card, and the Bugaboo image I found fits right in with my card.  I also added some paint samples, love these colors and wanted to see what I could come up with. I added some ribbon/flowers and used spellbinders. Colored the image with Copic Markers.

Hello friends, I do like the weather today, lately it seems like we get one or 1/2 day of nice and then rain, wind and cold.  Today it is nice for a change.

My card today is for my hubby, our Anniversary is next week and I thought I would make one for my man.  Ya I know not that manly, but I think he will like it.

 

I used embossing folder from SU-arrows, La La Land banner die, Flowers, Spellbinder, Glue dots, 3D Foam Tape, Copic Markers, Image - Bugaboo day after forever, Wink of Stella Pen, MS Branch Punch.
